In its continued mission to make quality healthcare accessible to all, Chikitsa Mandir organized a comprehensive Medical Camp in Kadol Village, Gujarat. The initiative aimed to reach underserved populations and provide essential medical services directly at their doorstep.
Key Highlights of the Camp
- Over 250 villagers received free medical checkups, including general health assessments, blood pressure, diabetes, and vision screening.
- Free distribution of medicines for chronic conditions and common ailments.
- Eye check-ups and cataract screening conducted with referrals to specialist services where needed.
- Health awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
- On-the-spot consultations by a team of doctors including general physicians, ophthalmologists, and paramedical staff.
- Medicine supply support registered for long-term follow-up via Chikitsa Mandir’s Monthly Refill Service.
- Community participation with support from local volunteers and village heads.
Our Purpose
The goal of this camp was not just to treat but to educate and empower the villagers of Kodal with knowledge and ongoing access to basic healthcare. Chikitsa Mandir remains committed to bridging the gap between urban medical infrastructure and rural health needs through regular outreach programs.
